DIY Electronics Project
LED Blinking Circuit
Objective: Create a simple LED blinking circuit using basic electronic components.
Components Required:
1. Breadboard
2. LED (any color)
3. Resistor (220-330 ohms)
4. Jumper wires (male-to-male)
5. Power supply (3-9V battery or USB power source)
6. 9V Battery
Circuit Diagram:
Connect the components on the breadboard as shown in the diagram.

Step-by-Step Process:
Step 1: Set Up the Breadboard
Place the breadboard on a flat surface. It consists of rows and columns of interconnected holes. The horizontal rows marked with numbers and the vertical columns marked with letters are used for component connections.
Step 2: Insert the LED
Insert the longer leg of the LED (anode) into any hole in the breadboard. Connect the shorter leg (cathode) to a resistor (220-330 ohms). Connect the other end of the resistor to the GND (-) row on the breadboard.
Step 3: Connect Power Source
Connect the positive (+) lead of your power supply (battery or USB) to the anode of the LED. Connect the negative (-) lead to the GND (-) row on the breadboard.
Step 4: Add Jumper Wires
Use jumper wires to connect the components. Connect the cathode of the LED to the resistor and then to the GND (-) row. Connect the anode of the LED to the positive power source.
Step 5: Power On
Turn on the power source. The LED should start blinking. If it doesn't, double-check your connections and make sure the LED is inserted correctly (longer leg to positive).
Step 6: Experiment
Experiment by changing the resistor value or using different colored LEDs. Observe how these changes affect the blinking pattern.
Safety Tips:
Ensure the polarity of the LED is correct.
Use the appropriate resistor to limit current and protect the LED.
Do not exceed the LED's forward voltage or current rating.
